Below you’ll find furniture pieces of original design currently for sale. These are things I create from a soulful place of self expression, crafted to the best of my ability in my small shop. Each piece is unique.   Woods are chosen with care, dimensions and proportions are adjusted as things come into focus, inspiration is always given room to speak. When a piece is finished it heads upstairs to my showroom for safekeeping and display. I welcome you to reach out if you’d like to visit! A word about finishes:  Most of my work is finished in multiple coats of hand-rubbed danish oil. This is a moderately protective finish that allows the natural feel and luster of the wood to prevail. It is easy to maintain and renew and will never chip or crack or need complicated refinishing. It does, however, require more care to avoid damage. This means using a coaster, promptly wiping up spills and generally being a bit more mindful. As a devotee of the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, I believe the objects in our lives should be used, enjoyed, scuffed, scratched and polished. They become ever more beautiful as they bear the marks of lives well lived.
